Why buy this guide when there’s a lot of free GPX files on the web? The vast majority of trails on Kermoot, trailforks, are not well researched, often taking routes involving a lot of walking or with access restrictions.  Trust us we have ridden them!  This guidebook explores the best areas with well researched rides with no access problems offering rides to suite all levels of experience.

This guidebook is all you need for a successful biking holiday in Mallorca.

The guide contains 14 of the best tours on the islandThe guide is downloadable as a PDF file. This can then be easily printed and assembled as an A5 booklet. Basic maps and GPX files included. These can be transferred to a GPS or smart phone. For Android phone users we can recommend The My Trails App, The GPX files can be easily imported and displayed on your phone.

(Please note; this guide can be used as a stand alone guide without the use of a GPS or smart phone, however we do highly recommended their use to aid navigation)

We can also arrange tours and the hire of good quality mountain bikes on the island, e-mail us your requirements and we will do the rest.

Route information

The guide book contains mtb trails to suite all levels of experience, from very technical black routes to gentle tours through oak forests. The grades given have not taken into account the amount of height gain undertaken on a route. The grading is purely based on the technical difficulty. Your own skill level, personal fitness and time of the year will have to be taken into account.

This guide includes trails in the following areas of Mallorca: The Soller Valley, Bunyola, Esporles, Palma/Gènova, Pollenca, Lluc Monastery and Arta, with other possibilities for several days worth of riding in the Arta region.

Green Rides 1-3 hours, 7km-20km in length. 40m-200m of ascent, all climbing and descending on 4×4 fire roads. The surface of these roads is generally good with a loose surface.

Blue Rides 2-4 hours, 17km-24km in length.  200m-700m of ascent, all climbing on 4×4 fire roads. Descending generally on fire roads with some technical loose sections. No big drops or large features.

Red Rides  3-5 hours 15km – 35km in lenght. 400-1100m of ascent, mostly climbing on fire roads with some technical climbing. Technical descents with medium sized features.

Black rides 3-5 hours, 20km -35km in length. 400m- 1100m of ascent, mostly climbing on fire roads with some technical climbing. Very technical descending on rocky trails. As a guide to the difficulty of these trails.

I did the Na Burguesa (I think its Tour Nr. 11) Tour today, it was a blast! I had to squeeze this Holiday into some appointments, so it’s rather short, But today was worth the ten quid alone. Navigating on gpx files alone can be a  pain and the additional instructions were very helpful.
 So thank you!
